AB Stockholms Spårvägar has its foundation in a long and solid tramway tradition. With commitment and know-how, we operate regular services in Stockholm, on behalf of SL.
Line 21, Lidingöbanan, runs Ropsten – Gåshaga Brygga. Line 7, Spårväg City, runs between T-Centralen and Waldemarsudde on Djurgården.
In addition, we have a bus division to reinforce the traffic and as replacement traffic when there are no carriages.
In total, on both routes, an average of 27,000 people travel with us every day. Djurgården is also served by line 7N, the Djurgårdslinjen. It is a museum tramway that is operated with the help of non-profit forces.
Stockholms Spårvägar was formed in 1987, by the non-profit association Svenska Spårvägsällskapet, founded in 1959. Since July 1, 2022, Stockholms Spårvägar is owned by Bergkvarabuss AB and is part of the group Mekka Traffic Group.
In total, approximately 290 people are employed in AB Stockholms Spårvägar.
